When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, country, and account type (individual or business). When you post a listing, we collect a phone number and WhatsApp number, which are shown publicly on that listing so buyers can contact you. We also keep a record of your credit purchases, spending, and (for digital sellers) sales.
We use this information to operate the marketplace: to show your listings, connect buyers and sellers, process credit purchases and digital-product payments, calculate seller payouts, and communicate with you about your account.
The phone number and WhatsApp number on a listing are visible to anyone viewing that listing, by design, so buyers can reach the seller. Your email address is never shown to other users under any circumstance — it is accessible only to BextBuyz administrators.
Credit purchases are processed through PayPal. BextBuyz does not store your full payment card details.
Messages sent through the on-platform chat are stored so both participants can see their conversation history.
BextBuyz uses standard session cookies required for login and basic site functionality.
We retain account and transaction data for as long as your account is active, and as needed to comply with legal and accounting obligations.
You can review and update most of your information from your Dashboard and My Account page. To request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account, contact BextBuyz directly.
BextBuyz is not directed at children and is not knowingly used by anyone under the legal age of majority in their country.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
